MSP GLOBAL 2025. Impressions and considerations.
MSP GLOBAL 2025: impressions and considerations following my visit to the event on October 22 and 23, 2025, in PortAventura, Barcelona (Spain).
As mentioned in a previous article, I visited MSP GLOBAL, THE ONLY INTERNATIONAL EVENT DEDICATED TO MANAGED SERVICE PROVIDERS IN EUROPE (as stated on the organizer's website) with the motto “Growth, partnerships, and roller coasters".

MSP GLOBAL 2025. The second edition in Catalonia.
The event was organized by WHD Event GmbH of Cologne (Germany) and, for the second consecutive year, was held at the PortAventura theme park in Salou, Catalonia, near Tarragona, which celebrated its 30th anniversary this year.

The same company also organizes the CLOUDFEST event, which will take place next year from March 23 to 26, 2026, at EuropaPark in Rust, Germany.

The event took place mainly in the Convention Centre, where numerous stands with the event sponsors were located on the ground floor, while the presentation sessions, masterclasses, and training sessions were held on the upper floor.

According to the organizer, it was “the largest MSP festival ever organized", with more than 2,800 visitors from over 80 countries representing various categories, including MSPs and MSSPs, as well as distributors, resellers, agencies, and numerous other individuals from the IT sector and beyond.
MSP GLOBAL 2025. AI and Cybersecurity.
As already described in my article, the event program was very substantial and divided into three days:
- October 21, 2025, entitled “Acronis TRU Security Summit 2025”, reserved for Acronis partners
- On October 22 and 23, 2025, the event was open to the public and featured numerous presentations by sponsors, training sessions, masterclasses, and showcases

.
The main topics were, however and everywhere, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cybersecurity, accompanied by other topics and solutions such as servers, storage solutions, networking solutions, service management platforms, remote access and support solutions, and various solutions offered by the vendors and distributors present.

I attended the session entitled “Cracking the Code: Conversation with Alan Turing", in which Soeren von Varchmin (Chief Evangelist at MSP GLOBAL) interviewed Alan Turing (the Father of Cybersecurity), recreated through AI. It was truly exciting!

MSP GLOBAL 2025. Exhibitors.
The exhibition space has been enlarged compared to last year to accommodate the stands of exhibitors, which are much more numerous this year than last year.

I would like to point out the presence of several Italian companies, including one worthy of note, Nanosystems from Ascoli Piceno (Italy), which took the opportunity to present an innovation in the field of cybersecurity, Supremo IT Security, a threat detection module based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), developed in collaboration with Cyber Evolution, another company from the same city, which created a proprietary module called LECS.

MSP GLOBAL 2025. Server throwing.
As is now tradition, both CLOUDFEST and MSP GLOBAL events featured the Server Throwing challenge, which took place on October 22, 2025.

MSP GLOBAL 2025. Catering and social events.
The catering was of good quality and there were occasional social gatherings at the stands of some sponsors, which encouraged moments of general relaxation.

The celebrations that took place at the end of the three days were noteworthy.
Unfortunately, I did not attend the event on October 21, 2025, entitled “Come2Gather Party”, as it was reserved for Acronis partners. It took place on the terraces of the Convention Center, where there was a DJ and also a live band called “The Lords of Uptime”, composed of leaders in the cloud industry.

On October 22, 2025, the “ConneXion Party” took place in a part of the theme park that had been rebuilt in the style of a “Far West” village, where a band provided entertainment for the evening.

On the final evening of October 23, 2025, two parties were held, one called “Beach House Party” at the Infinitum Beach Club and the other called “Terrace Party” at the Hotel Caribe.

I attended the Terrace Party because I had received an email saying that the first party was fully booked and that I should sign up for a waiting list, due to the fact that they were carrying out work at that location. Last year, however, I had been to the Beach House Party.
MSP GLOBAL 2025. Impressions.
I must once again congratulate the organizers on their choice of venue, the services offered (free shuttle bus, dedicated app, parties, etc.) and, I never tire of repeating it, I was impressed, to say the least, by the size and quality of the event.

Putting all the resources together, scheduling appointments, meetings, and events is not an easy task, especially considering an event of this size, similar in scale to CLOUDFEST, which I attended this year.
MSP GLOBAL 2025. Considerations.
As with other events, I had the opportunity to learn new things, meet people I already knew, and make new acquaintances, both personally and professionally, in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere that encouraged knowledge sharing and the exchange of opinions.

As for the catering, I don't think it was excellent, but good. All in all, the food and drinks were good, although not as exceptional as at other events I have attended (see MSP Day, for example).
MSP GLOBAL 2026.
If you were unable to attend the event, you can subscribe to the newsletter and be notified when it is possible to register (free of charge) to participate in the 2026 edition, which will be held from October 21 to 23, 2026, again at the PortAventura theme park in Spain.
