I will be visiting the it-sa Expo&Congress 2025!

On 8 October 2025, I will be visiting the it-sa Expo&Congress event, “The Home of IT Security” (as stated on the organiser's website), which offers a comprehensive range of information, networking and knowledge transfer on data protection and IT security.

it-sa stands for "Home of IT Security" and takes place both online and on site, meaning:

• on the web 365 days a year through a dialogue platform, which offers free information on products, solutions and innovations in the IT security sector through various content formats, such as conferences (interactive and on demand), white papers, articles, industry news and much more.
• as a physical event called it-sa Expo&Congress in October at the Exhibition Centre in Nuremberg, Germany, which brings together IT security providers and IT security managers from around the world..

The fair has been organized since the year 2009.

The edition of 2024 saw a record participation of 897 exhibitors from 28 countries, 25,800 visitors from 65 nations, and held 6 forums with around 400 presentations by speakers specialized in IT security.

Why participate in it-sa Expo&Congress

As stated on the official website, it-sa Expo&Congress is Europe's leading trade fair for IT security (hardware, software, training and consulting services, as well as Security as a Service) where trends and innovations in IT security can be seen and understood.

The it-sa Expo&Congress Programme

Among the important topics discussed at it-sa are cloud and mobile security, data and network security, protection of critical infrastructure, and industrial security.

In this page it's possible to search very accurately for sessions of interest through a free text search field and dropdown menus with various selection options (location, event, language, etc.).

In this page you can find the full list of forums, with the option to select the day (October 7, 8, or 9, 2025), topic, and language.

This year's novelty: all presentations will be translated in real time from English or German using AI.

The exhibitors at it-sa Expo&Congress 2025

There will be numerous exhibitors present.

Here you can search for companies that will be present at the event as exhibitors and view their company profiles.

Interesting the presence of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic at whose booth will be present the Brno University of Technology and some companies including GoodAccess, MyQ, Penterep, and Redamp, and whose managers I would like to meet.

Registration and entrance ticket to it-sa Expo&Congress

There are 2 types of tickets for entry to the event:

• 1-day ticket at a cost of €67
• permanent ticket (valid for all 3 days of the fair) at a cost of €112

Parking ticket is also offered at €14 per day.

Interesting news: The event ticket includes a public transport ticket for the VGN network which allows free travel by subway, tram, bus, and regional train to and from the exhibition center within Nuremberg and some surrounding areas.

How to reach it-sa Expo&Congress

Nuremberg is well connected by various means such as airplane, train, bus, and the exhibition halls can be easily reached by car and subway (U1, stop Messe Nürnberg).
