40 years of Nanosystems.
My visit on June 26, 2026, to Ascoli Piceno (Italy).
On June 26, 2026, I visited the Nanosystems company in Ascoli Piceno (Italy) on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the company's founding.
The event was titled "40 Years of Ideas, People, and Innovation. Celebrating Past and Future. Together."

With this event, Nanosystems wished to honor those who accompanied and made possible the fantastic journey undertaken, as well as the bold visions that allowed them to navigate technological evolution for four decades. Numerous people were present (owners, employees, family members, partners, collaborators, friends, and acquaintances).

A single question guided the entire day: "What truly allows an organization to endure over time?"
40 Years of Nanosystems. A Bit of History.
Nanosystems Srl is an Italian software company based in Ascoli Piceno, founded in 1986 as a provider of system integration services and IT consulting. Since the early 2000s, the company's core business has shifted towards developing software solutions for IT teams and Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
The company designs and distributes high-quality software in over 150 countries.

Silvia Gigli and Romana Romandini are the current owners of the company, and the message they drafted for the anniversary can be found here.

A couple of quotes from the document:
“Looking back on our journey, we have come to realize that a company’s value is measured not only by its achievements, but also by the positive impact it creates.”
“...what will never change is our commitment to building simple, reliable, and accessible solutions, always putting people and the relationships that make every achievement possible at the center of everything we do...”
Equally important are the social initiatives supported by Nanosystems, which actively contributes to the growth of people and the community in which they operate and live. Over the years, they have supported projects focused on young people, personal well-being, and the local area, with the goal of creating a positive impact that extends beyond business activities.

40 Years of Nanosystems. The Day's Program.
The day began at the Nanosystems headquarters with a meeting reserved exclusively for partners. Several representatives from international partners were in attendance.

New developments were presented, including the new Partner Program, the upcoming release of Supremo version 5, the new Supremo Mobile app, new features already available and those coming soon to the Supremo Console, as well as potential future developments for both the Supremo and Uranium Backup solutions.

Following a brief lunch and a break, the official program commenced at 4:00 PM at the Teatro dei Filarmonici in Ascoli Piceno with the presentation "Our First 40 Years," attended by many additional guests.

The event featured an exclusive interview with the two owners (Silvia and Romana), along with contributions from employees who recounted key events and anecdotes from the company's history, from its origins to the present day, offering insights into future objectives as well.

To conclude the presentation segment, several clients and partners shared their personal experiences and stories.
After the presentation, shortly after 6:00 PM, a guided tour of the historic center of Ascoli Piceno began. The group was split in two, one English-speaking and one Italian-speaking.

The two groups were guided through the streets and squares of the historic center to discover the splendid city of Ascoli Piceno, rich in history, art, and charm, allowing them to admire the unique architecture and millennial heritage of the city.

At the end of the tour, dinner and entertainment took place in the Cloister of Sant'Agostino in Ascoli Piceno, culminating in a grand finale under the stars!

The evening was unforgettable, marked by great food, music, and fun.
The concluding dinner was designed to delight the guests' senses with the finest local culinary specialties. It was a journey through the flavors of the region, celebrating together in a convivial and refined atmosphere.

The evening was enlivened by live music and an entertainment show, featuring a touch of lightheartedness and animation that ensured laughter and good spirits!

It was an evening that celebrated the roots of Nanosystems and the local territory with an essential ingredient: the joy of being together!

40 Years of Nanosystems. Impressions.
I was positively impressed by the organization of the event, the number of attendees, and above all by the hospitality and kindness of all the Nanosystems staff, who were always cheerful and helpful.
I offer my warmest congratulations to everyone who contributed to making this event a reality.

I had the opportunity to meet people I already knew in person, as well as others I had only known "virtually," with whom I was able to exchange opinions and ideas or simply discuss life situations beyond work.

40 Years of Nanosystems. Considerations.
I am fully satisfied with having participated in this event, which gave me the chance to spend a pleasant day in a positive and human atmosphere. The combination of technological evolution and the human factor creates a unique and unrepeatable synergy; this should be part of every company, especially in the IT sector.

As I have stated many times in other articles commenting on my visits to events (although this event was very different from others I have attended), I appreciate and support these moments of gathering that lead to personal and professional growth.
40 Years of Nanosystems. Conclusions.
I have been collaborating with Nanosystems for about three years, supporting them strategically and in the development of international business (search for international partners, support in drafting the new Partner Program, search for technical integration partners), as well as performing other operational tasks (periodic meetings, support with the implementation of the company CRM, internal training for account managers, and others).

I thank all the people at Nanosystems for allowing me to be present at this important milestone, for their hospitality, for the conviviality, and for the trust they have placed and continue to place in me.

So, in conclusion, what can I say... I eagerly await the next appointment... Until next time!
